Really? VMCC needs to wise-up! Skunk, this stinks!

Link to photos from Hampton Downs:

I did email the VMCC President but did not get a reply. AMCC, on the other hand, posted photographer passes to me even before I made a request.

The NZ Motorsport Year Book has featured my motorcycle racing photos - not from VMCC Taupo this time, it seems .

Choppa, unfortunately I will not be taking photos of you, and others, in action like this:

Thanks Rcktfsh. Appreciate your comment. No infield access screws any opportunity for great photos.

I'm watching on CTAS.co.nz - don't see many photographers around the track!

Bad call by VMCC. With 30 years experience as a motorcycle racing photographer and as a racer, I understand risks, safety and distractions. What criteria was used to establish which photographers were allowed? Was it just first-come-first-served? Anyone with a camera will do as long as they are in early?

If I had a hotdog stand or coffee business, could I expect to come along and set up how and where I liked?

this is VMCCs business they run the show how they like, for whatever reasons they choose, end of story really

Yow Ling, you might take note of where I was (as photographer).

I am a racer, as previously stated, with some understanding of what can happen when fast bikes crash.

That would be because there was no hi-vis vest used for media on the track. made them hard to spot! They were definitely there.
