Awesome ride last night!
Good to meet new people and learn a thing or two.
After everything we covered, going down my steep driveway was a breeze
I'll have to leave you boys to it next week, but I'm looking forward to joining in the following week

Hey Guys,
It's been a while but I thought I'd say hi! I've been in Sydney for a while now working over here. I had to sell the Triumphbut I now proudly own a Yamaha XJR1300 which is fantastic for touring this MASSIVE country
I hope everyone is still well and enjoying riding, I hope to be back this time next year for some more wednesday night rides!
Ride safe,
Dan
Well to be honest the australian roads are full of pot holes! But, great ocean road (Melbourne to 12 Apostles) has to be the highlight so far - a really twisty coastal road and we even saw wild koalas on the way. We did the 2 week, 2500k round trip over xmas to Canberra, Melbourne, and along the south eastern coast back up to Sydney. It was pretty tiring at times, the Canberra to Melbourne leg took 11hrs (google said 9!) which as you know is super tiring on a bike, but well worth it in the end

Some of the things we discussed last night:
* For the person wanting some repairs done to their leathers, I highly recommend MSW in central Auckland. http://www.msw.co.nz/
* I spoke about the terrible injuries that Brittany Morrow suffered while wearing her bikini and coming off a motorcycle. Her story is here: http://www.rockthegear.org/index.php...oadrash_queen/
* I mentioned the Masterton hill climb. Have a look at this for some rider skills. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KubGVzd64rg
Some good skills learnt last night. Always good to go over the basics and I enjoy the slow pace and social aspects of this ride.
Would personally like to thank Phil for taking time out of his life and running this thing. I think my riding has vastly improved since attending these rides. Although I don't always agree on everything thats said I take it all onboard regardless.
If anyone is still keen on getting a NASS crew together for a Track day out at Hampton the next dates are the 13th and the 20th of April according to the hdticketting website. I got 2 bikes I can run so will probably take a trailer out. Also PM me for midweek rides, not always avaliable but always keen if time permitts.
Keep safe out there
