ummm the only 'left' before the pub is the old line, which I would have thought to be a bit rough for a road bike?

Must be talking a different pub? Huruni is the closest. Left on the way/right going home (home being south of the pub). Tis all tar road but plenty of gravel options for those inclined.
Everyone knows where it is now so just a matter of time.

Reading all this again I'm starting to think it was poke a stick at D week or something.

Maybe just lots of quiet head scratching going on at the moment, and waiting to see if anyone knows.

Pretty sure I've seen that recently, you didn't by any chance take the scenic route from your place to Medbury and take a picture along the way......

Thought so, might have to take the ducati out to stretch it's legs over the weekend. Will have to unload from when I dropped lou at the hospital first though, she did get some funny looks turning up for surgery in her bike gear, poor thing has been parked ever since.
