    Just 27 years and 7 months into my first marriage. I worry that I shouldn't have got married but I ran out of excuses after 4 years of being engaged Still, she lets me buy and ride motorbikes so can't all be bad

    We often thought we'd like to get married for a special reason someday - however, we have been married 32 years because at the time there was a tax advantage for a married man. That no longer applies, so we are married for no reason at all.

    We got married cos some people died, ie better do it before there's nobody around to celebrate it with us. Only regret is the father inlaw's passing was the main one that got us motivated. Shame he wasn't around.
