    Where do I find?

I went to cycletreads and motormail and seriously tried on everything. In the end I didn't know what I was trying an just wanted something that fitted.

I actually bought my stella alpinestars gear from Germany cause it was cheaper but Cyclespot Honda on Barrys Point Road sell some women's alpinestar gear. This is the gear that I chose http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ewbie-mistakes

It's hard finding the perfect fit But you could buy some that are close to what you like/need, then get them altered to fit your booty.

Botany Honda do alpinestars. I am sure Richard can find you something that will work and fit for you.

Ok so Barry's Point first- as it's about 10min from me. And then off to Botnany!!

Well lets be hoping that if you see me I won't be clambering over my machine and waddling like a animated snowman.

Ive got leather for the jacket and gloves, as you know still looking for the pants (not leather, theres dike and then there dike)

but boots- thats going to be my challange. I have dancers calfs so nothing fits round there. the only ones that i have taken a fancy to and fit are $500. I want them with a slightly pointed toe so i can get away with wearing them at work, slightly heel risen would be nice too as I'm a short shit and would make it easier to get away with at work.

Those pants look familar, do they come in runty short with fat thighs?

Ive got a pair of pants, that entirely don't fit. I ended up getting flustered trying them all on and just bought a pair. Thats why I really dont like sales people- I am the worst person to sell to or shop with. So indecisive.

Haha I wouldn't know. I am 5ft 8ish and they are if anything, slightly too short for me, but not by much and I have a size medium I think. I bought my pants and jacket because they zip together which I do like. My boots, well you saw what I have in that link and they are too big around the calves for me a bit but that's because my feet are pretty big but the legs aren't, ya know. But they're not shoes that are appropriate for wearing to work.

There seem to be quite a few boots that would look ok in an office. Hehe, as long as you were long pants with them and not a short skirt...although that might look interesting

I just had a quick look here: http://www.boydmotorcycles.co.nz/Store/?c=71130&t=1

Although not sure about the calfs, but many of the boots are cut to be wide enough to stuff your pants in.

Finding pants can be really annoying. But I wouldn't buy them online if you already have problems finding fitting ones in the shop. If they don't have anything to fit you at the shop have them order stuff in in different sizes. They should be able to send them back without problems if they don't fit.

http://www.boydmotorcycles.co.nz/Sto...80&t=1&c=71130 ooooo these look purdy, just need to cut them off just above the first ribbing. I could wear these at work.

I'm not quite like the 99% of ladies here that wear 5" heels and dresses that just cover their ass. NOT COMPLAINING THOUGH! *ooo look I dropped a pencil, could you please.....*

I work in an office, and I wear dresses and skirts to work - although not quite ass high haha. I've figured that when the time comes that I finally start commuting to work, I will just bring a backpack with flats or leave my heels at work.

Coroprate administrator for me, but I always wear pants and the same short heeled boots. I'd feel so strange in a dress. I used to wear 5" stilettos, but then I decided on comfort and started parking further away.

I'm tempted to put a little piece of frabric under my gear shift so I don't scratch my boots and then just learn to ride in these for the to and from work commute. They are leather and ankle high.

Why don't you just keep a spare pair of shoes at work? I have to when I ride my bike to work, albeit not that often. I have to have steel cap boots for work though, can't wear my moto boots. Personally in terms of riding my bike to work I'm more concerned about messing up my hair and makeup than my footwear, lol.

I have curls so hair is a nightmare, I found a satin/silk scarf works wonders.

Helmet doesnt smudge my eyes and anyway I carry foundation in my handbag. I'm not very good at being girly though, my make up skills are very lacking.

Currently I'm finding that even at 5am with the winter lining in, I am quite happy with nothing on under the trousers, and just a polo on under the jacket.

Summer on the other hand.. Oh wow did that get hot! I tended to go with 3/4 leggings or some short shorts (thats the only time I will wear them actually), and have a t-shirt on, no bra, under my jacket. Better for modesty/not traumatising others that way. Though if I have no intention of stopping during my ride, then might just go with nothing on *gasp*
