Fellow Kiwibikers. After being completely ripped off by a dealer for a part recently I have decided to import parts.
I know we all need to support our local shops and I would initially say buy from them, I still do. There is no point waiting 7-10 days for delivery to save only a few bucks, but if you come across something that you need that is either way too expensive or unobtainable use our website - we guarantee to save you cash.

So why would someone get you to bring in a part (and pay you a margin on it) when they could bring it in themselves?

Very true Katman. But after many years of working in the UK industry we guarantee there is still money to be saved. Plus alot of our customers like the convenience of sending a quick email request then knowing they are getting the very best price without having to spend hours at their computer. Its a very easy way to import parts.
Alot of people however like shopping online and doing their own research which is great, but there are still alot of people out there who don't know where to start looking. Our margins here at www.carpartimporters.co.nz are very small and very little of the savings away from our customers. We run this business to save bikers and motorists money - not to make a fortune from them :-)

GS1000LN the N denotes the year (1979), wanting both coils original part numbers
33410-45010
33420-45010
thay have been superseeded at least once to 45011 so wouldn't be surprised if you rparts search comes up with another later number, one of each required please

You still need to register sole trader or not.
Especially if you are importing as you need to declare it with customs before it comes into the country.

Company is brand new here, as in just started today. My accountant is currently handling all the company registration and providing is with software to process all taxes, import duties etc, bit of a nightmare but slowly getting there

I've done a lot of searching for good overseas prices and for price and service these guys can't be beat.
As I said, why would someone pay you a margin when they could easily find the same deal themselves?

Takes some of the risk out? If something gets lost coming from overseas you have someone in NZ to fall back on.
