My local is on Belay Ave, so most Friday and Saturday nights we're treated to a parade of slow cars trying to be fast. I have noticed an increase in the number of 4x4's used by these guys.

"Yes Sir - I own a small farm and I carry the shotgun for pest control purposes." (When I had a gun rack in my ute this was true ...) "I shot at the tyre because I was trying to disable the vehicle and stop them ramming me. I didn't intend their vehicle to roll and kill all the occupants."

Or something to that effect would probably work espically if you showed remorse
Yeah .. all of that .. I have four guns .. I frequently go hunting .. might be in the car at any time for a legitimate purpose .. (not sure I'd like to try to load one while fending off a 4x4 intent on ramming .. but then I drive a 4x4 myself ..)

Them driving into a tree or a power pole? Seems to be what happens up this end of the country as soon as they try to drive quickly.

There's crowds with all types of vehicles. Including the older mercs and bmws.

Most annoying thing is trying to find one of those utes that the morons haven't molested.

I saw a 60's Vee-dub with the no suspension and low seats treatment yesterday. Jnr could look through the 10' steering wheel.

Don't worry too much. They will all be repo'd when they forget to complete the loan repayments or pay deisel levies.
