It is closer to 7:30pm, sometimes a little bit later (depends on how well the ride goes).

Some tips for everyone coming on the ride tonight; it's going to be cold and probably foggy, so some tips are:
    • Wear three of four layers of clothing under your gear.
    • Wrap something around your neck to keep the cold air off.
    • If your gloves are not good at keeping water and wind out try wearing a pair of cheap latex gloves (get them from super market, Repco, Super Cheap) under your normal motorcycle gloves. It makes the world of difference having warm and dry hands.
    • Clean your visor so the water droplets can run off easily. A lot of riders like to use Pledge on the outside, and ordinary car wax also can help the water run off. Use a cloth to polish your visor, not a paper towel.

Always be kind to your tyres for the first 5 minutes of riding, otherwise they wont be kind to you. And remember, tyre grip can be used for braking OR accelerating OR cornering, but mostly if you are using them for one thing you can only use them a little bit for the other - so choose wisely next time you are on a wet slippery road. For those interested in a bit more theory, check out the "Traction Circle":

What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.

    Oooo lucky.

I always have this feeling that they are out to get me. Only been done once for speeding in my car. But still hmmmm. Never there when you need them. And always there when you don't want them.

I'm όber paranoid about my WOF and Rego. Mainly for insurance purposes.
A friend got pulled over by a bike cop and they got talking, turns out the cop had just bought the same bike as her......because he wrote off his old one dangerous riding lol.

Wouldn't have been attending Nass for a few months if he got the speed
Lucky it wasn't a traffic cop, just a detective that happened to see me drag off a skyline then tear up the albany on ramp. Probably the last time I do that, got lucky.

For those of us longing for better fitting motorcycle gear you can get custom leathers made by Kerry at Motorcycle Safety Wear.

She is *very* good, but you might be seperately with $1500 to $2000.

The trick is to stop powering on once you hit the limit ....

Passed my warrant but need new tires. Probably just go for the same ones. Headstem bearings also need slight re-adjustment

The limit of the bike or the limit of the road?

Yeah, when the time comes it will be custom made leathers.

Now I'd say where's the fun in that, except go the fact I like the speed limit. It's scary enough at the speed limit lol I don't need to push it...just yet.

Loved going for my ride on Sunday. Because of the public holidays and all the cops out to ping you it kept the boys in check lol.
