Do a search on Rukka... it's been discussed

I have them, and yes, they're good.

Wow. I thought honestly that was a typo. Shit me. If that's the price for the pants I hate to think what the jacket costs...

Jacket is more than the pants, but yeah, $2k for the pants is a bit overpriced. Don't expect them to be in stock either, probably an order item.

The way I saw it was, if you've had an accident, lying there, and someone says, you pay me 2 grand and you can get up and walk away... well, if 2 grand is the difference between an ambo and walking away, I'd pay it every time.

Not the sort of gear you use for adventure riding (well, I wouldn't), but I've ridden for 15-20 hours, most of it rain, and it's never let water through. All the materials in the gear are expensive stuff, so I guess it adds up. Oh, also warrantied for 5 years.

For that price it better be able to withstand a few shots from at least a .223, otherwise it would be a complete rip off.

What cracks me up the most is that there are lots of people out there who spend shitloads on there bikes but when it comes to there gear they buy cheap shit. But each to there own I suppose.

so apparently its water proof, but then so is the aforementioned plastic gimp suit.

the low heat thing sounds good, but 2k is still alot.

how does it compare to good leathers for crash protection? 2k would buy alot of meke trousers.
