New Zealand From Above - Monday nights 8.30pm

What a great documentary, beautiful stunning scenery and no frills ordinary Kiwis going about their day.
I hope the rest of the series is as good as this nights opening episode featuring Fiordland.

Yip the whole 'World from Above' series has been great, looks like the NZ one will be as well.

It is all about the scenery of NZ from the air. Oops! Sorry!

    Edit, I missed it, bugger!

There was none of that. Nearly all of the [very few] head shots were side on.... quite different style of TV than normal....

    I really wanted those jobs!
The map shots needed some work, and were too often. I liked the style of commentary and the way personalities were shown in an informal manner.
I wish all TV had these components, but unfortunately it seems to be the cult of personality with face forward full eye contact dickheads staring at you bullshit

The scenery alone is worth the watch, even with the mute on.

It met the viewing requirements in Shloss Swoop last night: Nobody got "voted off".

Rather pleasant viewing. It did feel like the sort of thing you would find on "hotel television" when you check into a new holiday house and sadly the voiceover is from the annoying Target show. I can see why Maha uses the mute button!

This would have to be the most terrifing way of flying in fiordland. Dont think you would get me doing it.
