Only 1 of those was anything to do with me. The one at my folks house was because my dads car got nicked the night before outside the pub, and was used to break some real bad dudes out of the mount, and the AOS surronded the house the following morning. Another time, one of my flatmates was in his room pissed and suicidal and rung the cops saying he was going to shoot himself and everyone in the area. Dont want to talk about the third one.

I do suspect that shooting at the Police wasn't such a good idea, either... Just sayin'...

    Here's a guess.

Every time they got to close he shot at them.

I've never been shot at with a center fire but I've seen the results plenty of times and I bet the cops being shot at have as well.

Or am I thinking of a different case?
That sounds more like the one in Petone years ago, after some gang agro involving a rifle at the Hutt Park hotel? Guys last name was Chase, police went to his house very early in the morning, he came to the door holding a steel bar - police assumed it was the rifle and acted accordingly.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

But that doesnt mean its legal.

The expectation that i will comply because theyre in a silly hat is too entrenchd in their heads. Unfortunately, if you dont muster as a good little citizen must, you're dog fodder.

    the baby face indicates problems
how many gangsters were called baby face...
    'Henry' is a French surname
maybe he was pissed they got dicked in the rugby?
    very high forehead, youthful looking....

I'm going to go with an ex military gun nut with possibly autism like interpersonal problems and a drug issue.
Undiagnosed autisms, even very very mild ones, need closer scrutiny than this. Especially ex military personnel

His bebo page has many military references, also some weed and gang symbolism, the main photo delineates an innocent child in white looking downward in a dark forest....http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=7871787250

bit of a worry for sure, he could have hurt an innocent person hurtling along from opotiki to the shore
I would have organised sniper shooters to take out tyres sometime much sooner that 7 hours later

He passed near Hamilton so its not like armed offenders were not handy?
At the very least the southern motorway into orks
Even the police chopper could have dropped something in front of the vehicle as roads were closed....

I guess at the end of the day the cops cant follow everyone around all the time, and shit like this may always happen

Policve chopper still has to adhere to flight restrictions, chucking stuff out the window onto the motorway is probably frowned apon.
