That is not a bad thing to put into daily practice I guess in the space of fifteen minutes or twenty at the most, You'd not expect such a dramatic difference in your brakes eh.

I can't understand why when you noticed it you did not stop somewhere and check it the hell out. riding home then nutting off at the poor drone at the AA is, dar I say, counterproductive?

they're just a drum brake on a rod, right?: all you have to do is undo the nut a couple turns.

The biggest problem I have when taking the VF for a warrant, is making sure it has enough fuel in it cos old clive at the local VTNZ likes to go for a good long ride. 47kms last time.

I would have thought the big question no on picked up on is why are you using the back brake?

I agree, no one should make adjustments to your bike without telling you about it.

I'd be giving them a blast too.

Its a GN250 - like a lot of standard / cruiser types the back brake is very important and more effective than on a modern sporty type bike...

Your first time talking to a female? She doesn't want a fix, she wants to moan.

At least you can do better skids now.
Don't use VTNZ or the AA in future. They are all indian/asian/old white cunts that couldn't make it as mechanics.

It's my understanding that any employee at a VTNZ is only there to check that a vehicle is up to warrantable standard.

A Bike Mechanic on the other hand, can and probably will do any work adjustment but only on the ok of the vehicle owner..
If there was extra charge for brake adjustment then that's a plus but, he should have at least told you what he had done.
