Seems like a lot of bike for the money to me. I just have no business being on a litre bike

Kiwi's seem to have this strange conception though that once a bike has done more than thirty thousand k it isn't worth much and after forty thousand it isn't worth anything!
The bikes I've owned overseas I rode well past 100km before selling them... as long as they are serviced properly there's no reason any bike shouldn't do that.

That being said, put it on TM for $1 and you will probably get $7k. What's the new toy you trading the R1 and the Gixxer for?
I have 3 or 4 that Im keen on, but can only have one at a time now, train every night so dont have time to justify two like I used to.

really depends which of my desired list are out there once both of these are gone.
Have been looking at late model R1's. 06, 07/08, and crossplanes, as well as a ducati 1098 that popped up at a reasonable price recently.
a couple other possibilities too, if I can locate them!

Bikes are moving real slow at the moment just ask Maha, the middle of winter also doesn't help.

Perhaps if you see a bike you like the seller might take yours as part trade.

At least with a $1 reserve you'll get a buyer. Get a mate or two to Shill bid it up if it looks to be closing below what you want for it. That seems to be how trade me auctions work, in general.

I'd buy it at 5k coz it would be a good buy. More than 5.5 isn't a bargain. once you are in that over 6k bracket there are more options, so I think at 5.5 someone will be keen. Your location doesn't help though. Some Mug in Auckland would pay 6k if it was just across town. Unfortunately I'm not cashed up enough to be genuinely interested. Good luck with the sale though.

That probably isn't helping you sell the bike either. Unusually good price for a stealership.

When a dealership says the condition is fair then they mean rooted. Ex race bike wouldnt have been for many slides.....

ha. problem with shill bidding is when you have to keep relisting because some one 'jerked you round' etc, it becomes obvious pretty quick that youre a dishonest cunt and nobody wants to buy from ya. I want a clean sale!.

Hey if some mug in auckland wants it, I would consider shipping it to them for 6k . . .
