Teknic boots?

Anyone know who the NZ distributor might be for Technic boots? I bought a PAIR of Tehnic Defender riding boots on Tardme in April which were "worn once". They were...as new without a mark on them. But when I wore them on Saturday - in the rain for the 1st time - 6th usage overall - I saw the top of the boot over my foot is all splitting open. They are a cheapishly made pair - so might just have to repair or chuck em, but thought I might approach the distributor to offer to send them back for a replacement set offer..Fat chance? Did that once for other clothing and got the right result. But can't trace the source for these boots. Whites maybe? Anyone know?

You could try calling up a shop that stocks them they would know who the distributor is, I don't like your chances much though.
