    Suzuki Vinson 500?

I know quads dont get talked about much in here but thought I would ask anyway. I have recently purchased a 500 vinson to use for hunting / fishing etc. Im in the process of tarting it up a bit, repainting carriers , replacing rusted nuts and bolts with stainless where apropreate. Im wanting to bulid a custom gun rack, and as I have no manual for the quad Im unable to check this out, and this is my question. On the handle bars are 2 threaded blind holes (I think for mirrors ). Do any of you know the thread size for them, I think it is 10mm but what ? Unf, metric ? Ive tried a few bolts but they all come up tight as the thread pitch is not right.
    Any help would be welcome.

There are specific gun mount components available that attached directly to the front carrier.

Readily available (and inexpensive) through any bike shop.

yep , Ive seen those . They are not suitable for the guns I want to carry, I need a very spacific shape . I intend to cut this profile myself from 20mm zylon sheet and mount via ss bolts to handlebars

    I would expect m10

you could always drill them and tap em out to something sensible.

Thanks Katman, you have saved my bacon. LOL.
I was beginning to think it was some odd size.
I will pick up some bolts tomorrow and get on with the job. Looking forward to using the unit up in the hills.
    Cheers

As far as guns mounted on bikes goes, this is pretty cool.
