Garage time: What are U doing now?

Im trying to set mine up. Just moved in and I have bike one side, work car in the middle but the other side full of boxes and house renovation stuff.
I cant even reach the stereo to turn it on. I haven't had a chance to put the aerial cable to the tele. I have wired one recessed fluro pack and cant reach the spots to install the other 3 due to boxes. I want to line the ceiling and have framed out the man hole but the plywood money got spent on fence timber. I bought lots of weights and a bench buts its behind the painting gear.

Other than that my garage is mint.

My garage stereo is good.... (has caused many issues) .... bitches car is out side.
All people that let their other half's park in the garage lower your head.... yep those are small balls.

I had a garage last time I looked about 4 months ago...
it's 300km away... lathe , mill , welders , plasma all just
gathering dust now... Along with a half restored
77 Montesa Cota 348.... My other 2 bikes now live
in a rented storage unit down here...

It's a real pain in the ass not having any gear handy...

I have a garage but all I have done lately in it is put a piece of lino under the drip on the bike to calculate consumption of oil(Texas tea) to see if it worthy of replacing a mid gasket or just keep topping it up

Mine is used mainly for storing tools and parts, wifes car lives in the driveway. At the moment theres not much room, the atv, DR and VF are all in various stages of WTF. And the bench is covered in rotory hoe parts that need to find there way back together tomorrow because the owner is coming to pick it up. I had a workshop in town until recently but had to abandon it due to an altercation with the owner. The stereo is pretty fucken good too and is mainly used to drowned out the noise of me sitting on the puter instead of working.

Swapped out some worn 36mm Dells for some less worn ones on my R90 race bike, now almost idles......ready for HD on Sunday....hope its dryish....
Got a Father/Son VW Beetle in bits in the the other 1/2 of the garage that became a Father/ project.
Its been on TM for the last couple of months as a whole car project......parting it out next week....I love cutting up cars, they take up quality bike space. Cars belong outside.

Yeah, after a month playing with jets and air/fuel mixtures I decided to pull the emulsion tubes and give them a really close inspection. It's amazing the small amounts of wear that can cause issues, they were only very slightly worn around the orifice.
The ones I've ordered are the nickel plated ones from factory pro, apparently they don't wear nearly as fast as the OEM brass ones.

Good luck with that. nah the FP ones are better, but the issue is the plastic runners the slides run on are worn & allow more vibration movement that wears the emulsion tubes faster.

I got a bit upset after a year my FP tube wore too, but I hadn't thrown the old tubes away so made some easily replacable inserts. heck I'll try find the link to my RF thread .

Hmm, no I can't but try this. Had to buy correct precision drill bit (2.8 or some queer size) to drill the insert to = same as std. Hmm, drawing says 2.5, must have been that. Then you just superglue them in. After a year het them with gas torch & they fall out & glue new one in. Happens worse on the Left 2 cylinders (or was it the right?)

Hey that's clever, just fabricating inserts.. Hmm I'll see how the wear goes on these new ones but if they wear too quick I think that it'll be worth giving this a go. Will be a bit cheaper at least!

Major service on the Moto Guzzi Eldorado so down to the frame and engine.
Its at a point where although it has been looked after all its life it needs detailed checks,every wiring connection,inside the switch gear etc etc.
The sump gauze screen (no oil filter) was clean which is good on these chrome bore engines.

Yeah I tried to build up the plastic sliders, but not easy, plus don't want slides to hang up. have to watch for complete gluing, but its not hard.

Working on low mount pipe for the Hornet along with thermostat mod. Sorting gold valves and racetechs on the forks of the KDX along with getting round to going a tooth up on the front.

Trying to find a better rear shock for the Hornet to.
