Yeah, after a month playing with jets and air/fuel mixtures I decided to pull the emulsion tubes and give them a really close inspection. It's amazing the small amounts of wear that can cause issues, they were only very slightly worn around the orifice.
The ones I've ordered are the nickel plated ones from factory pro, apparently they don't wear nearly as fast as the OEM brass ones.
Good luck with that. nah the FP ones are better, but the issue is the plastic runners the slides run on are worn & allow more vibration movement that wears the emulsion tubes faster.
I got a bit upset after a year my FP tube wore too, but I hadn't thrown the old tubes away so made some easily replacable inserts. heck I'll try find the link to my RF thread .
Hmm, no I can't but try this. Had to buy correct precision drill bit (2.8 or some queer size) to drill the insert to = same as std. Hmm, drawing says 2.5, must have been that. Then you just superglue them in. After a year het them with gas torch & they fall out & glue new one in. Happens worse on the Left 2 cylinders (or was it the right?)
