I need a pair of very small ladies winter gloves that at least will pretend to be resistent to the weather and above all warm...

I mean since you pay $150 and get crap why not pay half that for acceptable?

A pair of Rain-Off overgloves plus those 1Tonnes would be 100% waterproof and still less than $150.

I've had mine 6 years and have never had wet hands while wearing them.

Yup - thats what I'm thinking... Mind you they really are going to cost me near $300 taking the original purchase into account. Ouch.. Still - like I said. Build a bridge...

I have set of 1tonne gloves and they by far are more comfortable and nicer to wear than my more expensive alpine stars..

mine are the Razor - I wear em all year with thermals and heated grips.. they're a bit too warm for really hot days, but otherwise I wear them every day.
Technically they are a "3 season" glove.

Maha, those Rukka gloves are great, but they are also 5 times the price.

However I suspect it would be cheaper to employ a man to run alongside the bike blowing warm air onto Vickis hands than to buy a pair...

They are good gloves Paul but as you say, pay less for acceptable. iYRe's comment about the 1Tonne gloves must assure you a bit yes?

My hands are a women's XS size. I have the smallest size available of the 1tonne winter storm gloves (XS or XXX, can't remember) and they are still much to big. Approximately the same as a women's M. Definitely go for a woman's glove. If she had very small hands a small men's one won't do.

THe razor isnt technically a winter glove:

The Razor Glove is a waterproof road/sport glove that is sure to impress. They are snug, warm and comfortable.
The fine detail on these gloves is not done justice in the photos. These are beautifully made.
You will be impressed.

They do have vents that let in cold air and on frosty mornings the less hardy amongst us will struggle - you can feel the cold air.

they are def waterproof and I use just a bit of mink oil or bees wax every few months on them. After 2 years the velcro is coming away a little where you pull on it, but not badly enough that I need to spend $69 replacing them.. the rest of the glove is still mint as.


The first one shows where the velcro is coming away - its also the throttle hand - and as you can see the palm isnt too worn. Photo 2 is top side.. awesome.
