I dunno, you're quite spritely, I'm sure you put on a good show.

anyway about time you did something with an AS3, or at least send one up here so I can mumble about not having time. I can find room next to the Stinker

Go easy on those full stops. If you're smart enough to use a computer it can't be that hard.

Well that thought has given me a raging soft on!

I have owned the AS3's since the late 70's, kind of like doing something with them some time.

Completed a change from high hippy bars standard on the Adventurer to 5.5 inch risers with an inch pull back mounted with 28" drag bars.

Thought I had everything sorted until I pulled the stock riser to find 12m bolts,,an the new riser uses 14m,,bugger.

Have drill have drill bit have chuck one size to small, father inlaw has other drill,,

Make tee handle an spend an hour a side doing it by hand,,,fugin aye worked sweet bro

Spend about an hour trying to get the throttle back togeather and had to constantly remind myself of how expensive these things I wanted to throw at the wall were.

Finally got it done by getting the bike running and then putting it back togeather while I could hear if I'd jammed it again or not.

Took an allen key and went for a ride.
Never had to adjust a thing and the bike feels totally different to what it did.

Much sharper in corners and much more comfortable at cruising speeds.
The bike feels shorter now, tips in better and feels more stable mid corner.

Nice to win now an then

So would I. Just have to think how to convince you out of them, you know like without having anything to offer in exchange (goods or services sicko)

Well decided the garage time would be 50 50 split today.

Removed the quad universal centre from the trailer coupling ready to be repaced by a 60/30/30 steel ,bushes and 14mm bolts. I just didn't trust the universal. After 3 hrs punching and grinding to remove it I think it would have been ok.

Increased the width and height of one of 4 doors going on wardrobes also.

Trying to salvage the seat pan of the GS1100GK - the sides and front have rusted out. I've been looking for a replacement on Ebay for a while and not found one yet, so the new plan is to reconstruct the missing bits with bog and then use it to make a mould, then build a fibreglass replica.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Just rebuilt the front master cylinder. Old piston was looking rather nasty just behind the seal. Had a bitch of a time bleeding until I went looking for air in the banjo fittings.

It was the first use of the man cave to avoid a wimmin's collective, too. Would have been first rate if I didn't have to come inside for dessert and - that's bad planning on my part.
