There are fucked up people from every race and religion. Christian extremists have been known to build bombs and blow up abortion clinics. Sikh extremists have done similar things. Look at all the mass shootings in the USA that seem to occur with alarming regularity.

But, also look at the scale of things. It's not just the odd Muslim that's an extremist, as this is part of a huge, somewhat organized global terror network which basically wants to destroy the non Islamic world. It's not just the odd bomb that goes off, but these are daily attacks designed to kill as many innocent people as possible. Not a single day goes by that there's not some new video on the internet of someone snackbaring someones head off, or the aftermath of a bomb in crowded market.

Going to war and killing an enemy is one thing, but why go out and murder innocent civilians all in the name of Allah? They bomb hospitals and kill the doctors so people can't even get basic medical treatment. Why is it that the vast majority of these acts of terrorism are committed by Muslims? Muslims make up around 1/6 of the world population, yet account for the majority of terrorist attacks. The blow up each others mosques daily, as the Sunnis hate the Shiites (and vice versa) as much as they hate non believers.
