Clubbies 2012-13, the poor brothers of AMCC. They didn't even give us a championship acknowledgment :-(

With my beer tinted glasses I'm ready to biddy battle,
I'm hungry like the wolf, but I'll end up tending cattle!
No humans were harmed in the filming.
I think that's important![]()

Awesome mate
Des
Awesome video, fantastic.
nb; we are working on giving you guys something in recognition of a fantastic seasons racing, I dont think I've seen so many other racers watching a clubmans series so closley.
The standard of track craft improved leaps and bounds as the season progressed.
Look forward to seeing some new faces on the grid this season too![]()
I hope to be back on the grid this season. Unfortunately I can only race in clubmans being basically the only rider on a retard!
Get rid of those NANA knickers, and FIGHTER it!
You can pick your nose and you can pick your friends, but you cant eat your friends!
I too shall probably join you on my own retard in clubbies. Wont be able to make the first round, but should be good after that. How many bikes do clubmans normally get?
What sort of times you running round Hampton?
Good video by the way.
Hey guys, Clubbies was great.
Good camaraderie and we all helped each other out.
Tony (Toebug??) ended up being quite a feature on his CRF450, I'd say he had a bit of fun.
We certainly enjoyed his company.
Had a speech from Graham on the last round of the year telling us that fast riders would be moved out of clubmans.
Cutoff is/was 1:15:00
600 multis were typically getting as low as 1:13s some 1:12s, Most of the pack were 1:17ish, with a few 1:20+ in the rearguard.
Curiously Seniors weren't cracking 1:15 much at all.
I suspect they want to burgle the next season. *cough cough DM*
Of course the season didn't start that fast and 1:23s were the norm for lots in round 1 & 2.
All in all, better than a track day.![]()

Some pretty quick times in there.
Don't know if it will come off, but i did hear AMCC may look at a Senior and Junior Clubmans class this season for that reason.
HMCC's winter series had a similar format, (bloody good too), only 600 multis were allowed in Clubman B (junior).
The 600's can be devastating in the right hands, as can some other machines and as you say some may want to do some "burgling" on the day.
Guess the club will have to keep an eye on the lap times rather than what a bike and rider may be capable of.
Yep clubmans was the jam for me too.
Went out thinking i don't need to be competitive to enjoy, but damn it's hard to keep a lid on it when you get out there.
Great bunch of guys, really did have a blast.
Gettin ready for this season now with a new gearbox and bits and pieces.![]()
Trumpydom!
I loved the clubbies too, Like C4 said a great bunch of guys helping each other out and some great battles on the track too.
I think my best time was in the low 1:20's on my 450 retard. I was able to mix it ok with the 600's in the first few laps but they are just able to out power me on the straights eventually pulling away after about lap 3 or 4. Last season though I was on a stock bike. This season will hopefully be different as I have or am doing extensive engine work after dropping a valve at a PMCC round at Taupo. I'm hoping to get around 60hp out of the bike so will hopefully be able to hang on a little longer to the 600's. For me I will always be in clubmans at AMCC because I'm not allowed to run in any other class as they dont have a motard specific class. I might not make round one as the bike might not be finished or run in by then but my goal is to make Rd1 at PMCC Manfield.

Oh and thanks for the great video.

There's probably a good reason why it's not ofiicially a championship and it's for the safety of the riders. Clubmans is an entry level class and designed to let people get track time without pressure, turning it into a championship will put pressure on people to often give it more than they've got. Spend your time getting to know your bike on a race track and then chase championships
great video, one of the best ive seen of the local scene
Conquiztador:There is 250's and then there is 2fucken50's!!!
Thanks
The goal is to pump out a few more this season, sky has shown interest in using them as interstitials
