To the original title. I think this new law has made it so obvious that "normal" marriage is no longer special in the eyes of government. However it's just a sign post against the decay of the role of marriage in society. Perhaps there will be more changes to come....why have bigamy laws? you can live with multiple partners in enduring relationships legally, but try to get married more than once concurrently and off to jail you go.
