Yes I was quite unsure what to do when your friend "rolled" down the hill to fuel up, then you pulling off at Sign of the Kiwi. We stopped and waited at the bottom of Dyers pass for a few minutes, but knowing we "lost" you guys we then decided to continue on to Akaroa.

Regardless, good weather and a good ride

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Plot twist, I still do have chicken strips on my bike.

I went to Akaroa and back again today. The weather was great.

ah, that's the quickest ride to Aka I have ever seen

I went to Aka yesterday, was awesome, except that I expected to fill up at the Z but it's tanks are ripped up at the moment. Luckily Duvauchelles has a 24 hour system now and 95 octane.

I still have a couple of mm strips on the rear, but caught the toe sliders on a few corners yesterday ....

Hey guys, I'm a new rider getting my bike later this coming week (thursday/friday 20th) and would be keen to join you if you are ever out and about.

    Let me know!

    Cheers.
