Have a fun day! I am still in recovery mode from this cold. Plus it sounds like you will be up at an indecent time. If the weather is good I might have to see if anyones going over the hiils to Raglan for a coffee...

Good fun ride with about 250 bikes of all kinds - 7 of us went up and were joined by M/M Caseye (thanks for the coffee) - and weather was pretty good all the way - stopped for a bite to eat at Mercer on the way back and heaps of cops from Huntly to Hamilton - 4 I think we counted and one with flashing lights on the side of the road with pete there?? He tells me they were doing a warrent/rego check on his bike as they had keyed his number plate into the system. Evidently he updated all on the Saturday so all was good!!

A good charity and Fat Max certainly makes for a fun day - though I lost him in the brief after he mentioned going past Burger King!

k folks, heres the deal for this ride:
Meet at Papakura Autobahn at 8.30am for a 9.00am roll. From there we head south passing through Huntly and Ngaruwahia until we arrive at the Viands Bakery in Te Awamutu (www.viandsbakery.co.nz)
Hook into a number of the fine, traditional home made pies which this establishment is famous for then its saddle up and head north stopping off at the Waingaro Hotel for a pint of your favourite (www.waingarohotel.co.nz)
All up a full day on the road doing what we do best, riding bikes, eating pies and drinking pints.....who could ask for anything more..
I want to thank Leathal for putting this ride together, checking the routes and venues and generally be an all round good egg. Chipper work old boy....

What road from Te Awamutu to the Waingaro?? - could be a good ride if we meet up at Ngarawahia and do the loop back through waingaro
Next ride 29th September - Will confirm but prob leave Kingsgate Carpark at 9.45 and meet up with the group at Te Kowhai?? Will enter in calendar once confirmed and advise via this thread

Don't forget to put your clocks forward on Saturday night before going to bed otherwise you may end at the start two hours early.
