Last time I followed someone home and gave them a bit of a slap, I got in quite a bit of trouble. But then maybe the dancing martial artist needed a good kicking too, some people just do.

C,mon guys, put some thought into it.
Yeah . .. that may be true - but also I see guys here driving police cars wearing overalls ... they're the mechanics who repair them ... so there's no gaurantee that anyone driving a cop car is a cop ... flashing lights or not ..

Well I hope you and all your colleagues spit on the piece of shit when you pass him in the corridors Rastus. Or is there more to this story than meets the eye... given he hasn't been locked up himself?

I am sure, with your record, you do not wish to upset the powers and authorities in our society. Action can still be taken, as there is no statute of limitations in New Zealand.

Not defending the guy, he sounds like a prize cunt, but making the point.
The guys servicing the HP cars up here have the disco lights all bagged up if they are driving them. Not sure what they do with the mufti cars tho of couse.

If someone was behind you flashing their headlights, would you stop? I certainly wouldn't, unless I had reason to believe beyond reasonable grounds it was a police officer.

    FTP.
From the article it sounds like he only stopped for a rail crossing arm. Refused to comply at that point, went home, guy followed and then beat him... that was how I read it at least.

Every industry has bad apples that give everyone a bad name. IPCA should be reviewing as the poor victim had to go all the way to High Court plus the years etc.

I agree. I'm sure this matter has had a review before this.
They should hunt the reviewers as well.

The IPCA is about as independent as Sprite is from Coke, of the very few cases they do accept most get passed onto the cops for investigation anyways making the whole process about as good as going to the cop that did wrong in the 1st place & asking them to prosecute themselves... yep it's a good system we done got
