Was flashing one of these at on coming cars that were high beaming me on the way back from up north last week. Good little things, you can buy powerful as ones that run off household batteries. When we got ours in China the guy showed us one that could melt through plastic on a simple 9v box battery. Was epic.

Picking out parts, this law seems alright

When an offender is apprehended actually using a laser against a moving vehicle or aircraft that person can be prosecuted under section 270 of the Crimes Act 1961.
    ...

The Bill defines the term “hand-held laser” for the purposes of the offence as “any hand-held device, designed or adapted to emit a laser beam” (Clause 4, inserting New Section 13B(4) into the Summary Offences Act 1981).

If we look at these parts, speed scam lasers are illegal & users liable under section 270 of the crimes act i.e. upto 14 years imprisonment

Yeah sometimes me and the bros ride out the the airport and get pissed at the end of the runway. We bring our laserpointers out too and try and hit the pilots. First cunt to bring down a plane has to do a funnel of Thirsty Draught.

Best use ive seen of 'em was in Egypt where thousands of people were using them against the Police & Army at the Taqic square demo's......
I think that this'll be one of the main reasons for the changes to the Law .........more effective than a Molotov.

We decide of course - the current Government only thinks that it decides - but we know where the real bodies are buried, as it were.
