I wonder what effect this will all have on Ms C; indeed whether her part in the proceedings were a strategy to some particular end - either for her own gain/benefit or his loss/downfall. Now, that is the most profound thing in this thread. My spoutings desperately need a good seeing too, they are all slanted, constantly wet & have a lot of growth coming out the top. Was thinking of calling in an expert with a good track record for this sort of stuff but I found everything I need at Hammer hardware.

You are right. She's intelligent and must have wondered - hoped? where this was going. Older men do trade-up for trophy younger wives. Monica Lewinsky believed Bill Clinton loved her and that he was unhappy with Hilary.

My experience involves sitting across a desk listening to people justify affairs or railing at betrayal. Its never as simple as it sounds. There is no cold clinical agenda and certainly no deep self reflection about the future...until it all unravels.
