Ah, Aussie - the beige country.

We have something in common with our Aussie neighbours.

We don't have a constitution either.

Wow, I don't know much about politics but I do have common sense, and that's just wrong in my opinion.
At least in the way they explain it in that little clip, hopefully in reality it wont be that black and white.

It's not Australia - it's Queensland. You have to live here to appreciate just how daft a State can be. Fortunately the climate makes up for it.

And yes Australia does have a constitution. Which is where this will end up. Making Barristers richer when it's inevitably challenged - and thrown out as the unconstitutional tosh it is - in the high court.

The real concern is the enthusiastic Qld police using these new powers on ordinary motorcyclists.

Queensland will be joined by the other states soon though.

I just got back from OZ and it's a hot topic all over. Apart from this issue, from what I make out, the law enforcement agencies are gearing up to fight off the USA based Mongols who have been patching over the Aussie Finks.

Criminals are criminals & I shed them no tears. But yes the real problem is the fact that real motorcyclists may get caught up in the fallout by myopic enforcers or public perception

Yep, but ya gotta chuckle a bit 'cos they had to put amendments through allowing lawyers to represent the "bikies" without being seen as their associates.

So a few more legal battles, then the dust settles and maybe it'll be all good. Maybe...

Introducing a licensing regime for tattoo parlours and artists, banning bikie gang members.

Yeah but at the guts of this is the likelyhood that they have a genuine 'issue' with some characters in these clubs. What 'do' you do about blatently criminal behaviour of an organisation?

Its going to be a really bumpy legal ride.... and there will be conflict...
