Video camera seizure, What are our rights?

i hvew been asked for my sd card on my camera before and they did ask if there was anything on there I did not want them to see - not sure what would happen if I said there was

If they ask politely and you give it to them no problem. If you refuse theyd either have to seize it incidental to your arrest for something , or get a search warrant. They have no statutory authority otherwise.

Yeah they did ask politely, weren't nasty at all and of course I gave it right over, Was just wondering.

There's nothing else to the story, I don't like to cause trouble and frankly at the time was a little shaken up.

I was wondering the same thing. Just because a nice pleecemin asks you for something you dont necessarily have to give it to them. A blowjob, f'rinstance. We all like them (well I know I do) but not so much if I am the giver, and the receiver is a pleecemin. ....

He told me why, He said it would help determine how the crash happened regardless of me saying I didn't actually see the crash. said I would get them back by friday and gave me his card with number etc.
