    Or a ZX6R.
To be fair the camera platform was not exactly hanging about...

V10 R8 packs a punch and handles like it's stuck to the road with super glue. V8 is no slow poke either and ohhhhh the sound of that V8 is purty.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

Yeah, but a ZX10 will do naughty things to one in a straight line, considering a Panignale spanks a GT2 RS in a straight line, and a GT2 has a shit load moar poke than an R8

Still a bunch of knobs anyway

    Edit, tank racing

Yeah...until you come to a corner! Some cars can corner so fast, smooth and flat that it is genuinely astonishing. Straight line speed is only a small part of the equation...personally I only find it mildly entertaining. Handling and corner speed...that provides a lot of the thrills.

I went for a spin in a TVR last weekend on the back road I use when I can't be arsed using the 'motorway' to get home. I know the road well and can get from one end to the other pretty rapidly. The car had me grinning like a twat. A bike just cannot compare with the grip that four wide wheels gives you. I wish I had timed it now.

Yup, most modern sport cars will out corner (and brake, easily) a sport bike. But they weren't really going through corners...
I know my mate's RS Focus would have me in the corners on any bike.

BM'r boy knows how to ride. Nice.

BUT most road riders don't have that level of skill and I suggest that the driver of the GTR didn't have the level of skill in 4 wheels that the BMW rider has on 2. I mean, that BMW is a long way ahead of my CBR1000rr in terms of handling capabilities...but it's not THAT much better that it will hold off a quick cage. Give me a nice set of twisties in my Audi RS and I would hapily bet on myself vs most run-of-the-mill litre bike riders...including myself - to win. (Theoretically of course, one doesn't condone street racing).

I'm keen...for the fun of it, but I wouldn't describe you as the "run of the mill rider" mate...although Trashie might

Even if that raving homo Jimmy is wrong, I've only got the RF so it'll balance out.

Now, to convince track organisers to let us out together.

It's a pity...cause it looks like a ball of fun. Saw that clip of Jay Lawrence last year I think it was...bloody awesome.
