A mate of mine was involved in the Christmas...ummm..."installation" in Aotea square (bunch of Christmas trees made out of old fizzy pop bottles and stuff), the official opening was last night and sure enough it was Penny Hulse speechifying.

Well, it should be Len finally saying, "it's goodbye from me and goodnight from him" but I wouldn't hold your breath.

( IMHO Brown should "at least" face a fresh election and win a new vote of confidence /or not!)

Maybe he thinks that this is what identifies him as a progressive super city Mayor!

I wonder how many future mothers will name their precious new born baby sons "Len"? ..... Probably prefer "Adolf".
