Gixser thou track, race or road bike

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

    Thanks for looking.

We're looking at buying a newer house and unfortunately need to free up some coin, so here's my beaut toy for sale.

    K6 Gixser Thou
Has tidyish road gear (in the shed somewhere), will need new air intake tubes for OEM fairings as I had to trim them for the track plastics. Reg is on hold. Nearly set to race if ya want to, just needs catch can and lock wiring.

    Ohlins 25mm Cart's up front
    Ohlins triple clicker in rear
    Track/race fairings
    Quick shifter
520 chain n sprockets (near new)
Brembo RCS front master (near new)
    Braided front lines
    BMC race air filter
New full Arrow carbon exhaust system
    PCiii usb
    Digi gear indicator
    Quick turn throttle
    Race rearsets (near new)
    Race clip ons (new)
    Stomp Grip
    Frame Sliders
    Front and rear stands
    Tyre warmers

Short clip of it running here : http://youtu.be/qdRFXc9_3-8

Engine is stock, I have done maybe 6 track days since converting it, prior to that it was a babied roadie. Its an English import that the previous owner brought over with him, the frame recall was done here in NZ.

Overall its a bloody good bike, handles really well, set up for 80-90kg rider, I'm rusty as hell and was doing 1:37's at a busy trackday.

Pics show the old Slip on, Video shows the new Arrow Carbon system thats on it now. I've not had it tuned with full system yet, just running a map from the PCiii website, so would benefit from a dyno session to free up the top end HP.

What's the difference between a "track" and a "race" bike?

Not much..............remove stand, lockwire it, fit catch can and add some numbers and you have a race bike!

Haha, nah we wanna get something in a quieter area and a tad bigger, so having to up the mortgage a fair chunk so may as well go for something newer while we're at it.
It's just sitting there unused lately unfortunately, as much as I like burning tyres it makes sense to just keep the traily as its cheaper to have fun on.

Kinda wish I'd not spent so much on it now haha.
