Oh, a pissing contest. Am I too late?

Got to light speed, met myself starting out, had an argument, and we both went home in a huff.

That doesn't match my reading. The Japanese factories limit their bikes to 300kph by mutual agreement. MV is not a Japanese factory and the F4 was claimed to be faster (fastest).

"Modified" doesn't count because that can of worms is just too big to open.

redline speed would be around 240.

realistic top speed 205, maybe 210. Never been there.

Fastest I've ever been, an indicated 270.

Hey rastuscat, didn't you hand out a ticket to someone for going 105kph the other day? I'm wondering what can you do to a person who "claims" to have done 2XX kph?

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.

Got my blue ninja to around 160 (claimed) at manfield, but I can't get the white 300 to go any faster than 104 on the motorway. Strange wee beast.

Nothing wrong with that cos 140 kph is plenty to ride on our roads anyway.

I was at a bbq yesterday when a friend told me about a neighbour of his who has a Panigale. I've met him once, but dont really know him.

Apparently he goes out at weekends and does high speeds. Last weekend he was bitter about being overtaken while doing 250.

What am I doing about it? Having time off with my family. If I come across him while working and he's doing naughty things we'll meet professionally.

I'm pondering having a word with him though. Bit silly those speeds.
