140 top speed That's more than enough to meet our 100km speed limit haha
Fastest I have had it up to has been 133 on the speedo, interestingly in 5th gear, as 6th will get me to 122.

I always wink at other bikers and get not a lot of response.

    I wave to harleys.

Usually to warn them something has fallen off.

Nodding and Waving is so yesterday, Eclipse Mints are where its at...." Hello"

If I wave at a biker and they dont wave back, I follow them home then set fire to their bike. Rude fuckers.

You ride a Honda don't you ... us red-blooded heterosexual machine riders don't appreciate being winked at

Oh ... so when I waved at the cops like that the other day - and they didn't wave back .. it was because they're not members of KiwiBiker ... (and I thought it was because they were just unfriendly arseholes )

In that situation a simple Zie Heil would have done nicely

Why do chopper riders say no hello to us?

Hey Guys, I've been riding over 3 years now in NZ and I find it very strange when you see the chopper riders passing from the opposite lane and they dont give a flying Fudge when you wave your hand or nod at 'em? Does anyone know the reason why they do this? Do they think they're cooler than everyone else on the road? or are they just just mad cos any other road bikes (Sportsbike, Touring bike etc. ) goes faster than theirs? These are the only things I could possibly think of..Any ideas anyone?

P.S- I always feel happy when we greet each other whilst riding. I greet everyone on the road and I receive the same from most of the riders except for the choppers/cruisers. Arent we the big biker community/family who shares the same passion,i.e riding?

I don't ride a chopper, but sometimes I feel like if I give a wave to every passing motorcyclist I'd never have my right hand on the bar. I don't know why some motorcyclists feel like it's compulsory to acknowledge every other motorcyclist. I maybe give a nod or wave 30% of the time.
