Great stuff guys, thoroughly enjoyed the ride, my first visit to the Nikau Cafe too so thanks for that Al. Be great to head out there again on a slightly drier day.

Here's a pic I took on the phone (and a wee embedded map of sorts)

    Hi,
I'll have some video up on youtube later today, it's a bit shakey. It will from from the cafe to the first intersection. I'm getting a better camera mount which may solve the vibration problems, Look under dennis von guzzi-moto.
Despite the wet start today was a good ride, any faster and I start having the change gears etc to keep up.

I'm at least someone had some fun today... Looked like some nice bikes out today, it's a shame I couldn't join you lot and add some British muscle to the mix. I see that new purple powerband Al installed is doing the trick on the old Ag100, or has he been eating that IAMS stuff again

Yeah mate, red power band does the trick but leaving the IAMS stuff to the Sth islanders.

Could have done with a Brit bike as Italian makes out numbered Jappas 4/3.

In the next week or so I may put up a blog entry with my impressions of the machine. The short view is that there were things that I really liked about the machine but there were also things I didn't like especially the low screen. The motor is extremely smooth. Next Saturday I am having a try on a 2009 Wing to give a proper comparison.
