Tag o rama!

Here is the one in Gordonton, unfortunately they only have that sign up when they have the market, you would have to wait a whole month if you want the sign too

New Tag: well after I took the Gordonton Tag, I continued riding north then to Whitikahu Road, and headed up to State Highway 27, and headed north along SH27, and ended up in Te Kauwhata, then home, it is somewhere along that trip

I can post a map clue later if no one can figure this one out

Did you head back to Te Kauwhata along Okaeria Road?

Yep i did, it's a nice ride through SH27 and off through Okaeria Rd

And yes, it is a pretty cool ride through there.

OLD TAG: Rest Area, SH27 - in the windy (as in windING) bit just sarf of where it joins SH2 and the Maramarua Deathtrap Highway...

It won't take you all day
It's in a grapey little town
The locals call "T.K."

I rode that bit of SH27 ages ago and couldn't remember where exactly I was at the time...just that it was pissing down.

Nice to rediscover it today. With dry roads. But gazillions of truck/trailer units. Just like the Kaimai last Friday. Trucks are a pain in the bum.

lol, yeah i've driven that rode a few time for work, but never ridden it.
lol yeah I had clear road when I was iding it, but i pulled over to get that pic, and as I had just got my gloves back on to carry on etc, about a dozen vehicles pass, led by a campervan going average 70-80 kph, All heading back home for "back to work Monday" I guess

so was sitting behind those for a while till there was a nice spot to hop up a couple places, and then cleared up when I hit SH 2

It was a nice afternoon to clear the mind and just enjoy the ride

Tho i can't wait for my ride to Pamly in a couple weeks, will be a nice ride down there
