In case anyone is interested? The commentary is a bit tough to follow if you don't speak Spanish/Catalan or whatever...

MM looks like he was born on a flat track. Would love to see Stoner give him a go.

Hey, thanks for that Pritch. What a race! And I don't think MM had a whinge afterwards - not like some did in '13..

Kind of on topic (only because he’s testing for HRC this year) — Mat Oxley’s experiences with CS27...

Thanks DidJit, unwrapped a few issues that have emerged in the stellar, but should have been longer, career of CS27. He will always be in my 'top rider' list. (Now, waiting for the vitriol to follow.)

    Why?

I think when Rossi/Burgess failed to fix the Ducati, most people who didn't appreciate just how good he was re-evaluated Stoner's efforts as a rider.
The surly demeanour didn't help but having read his book I can understand it, although it still doesn't make him loveable.

It'd have to be a real hard liner who was still refusing to acknowledge his ability.

Well him and Brad Baker were just clearing out, no one else was as quick, but shame he came off on the wrong side of the tangle, but I doubt Marc was concerned about that.
    Cheers
