That was fun. 5 days, 1885km, and 21 hours in the saddle. Love the Vincent Rally. Always great weather, and great riding to be had there, back, and around the area.
Wednesday - rode over Arthurs to Greymouth for the the night, and a few drinks. Wet from home to Arthurs and then dry and warm. About 240km.
Thursday - Greymouth to Cromwell for the night, and a few drinks. Perfect day for a ride down the coast - calm and blue all the way, and not much traffic. About 495km.
Friday - Cromwell to the rally for an early camp setup and then off for a ride. Alex, Beaumont, Lunch at Lawrence, on to Milton, Outram, Middlemarch, Ranfurly, and on to the site, and a few drinks. Another mint day for a ride. About 440km.
Saturday - Queenstown for lunch and return ... oh, and a few drinks. Yet another mint day for a ride. About 200km.
Sun - Home up through the middle. Wet off and on from around Fairlie to Rakaia Gorge. About 500km. No drinks today - I need to dry out!
