    Bastard car thieves

So I went up to Chch womans hospital to visit my sister who had a baby last night which in itself must have been quite stressful for her, complications resulted in an unplanned c section.

After a quick visit to see the new bubs (didn't want to stay too long as my car was parked in a secluded carpark and I was worried about it being broken into) I saw my brother in law standing on the side of the road after leaving the hospital half an hour earlier so I called him and found out some fuckin asshole had stolen his car from Oxford Tce.

The car had only third party insurance as it was just a cheap old Bluebird which isn't ideal but not the real drama (they can have my car, I'll just use my bike to get around). The car contained the gear for the new baby (car seat etc) as well as their other childs car seat and the push chair and a ton of other stuff.

What kind of low, thieving cunt steals a car from out front of a hospital with that kind of thing inside. If I find this prick I'm gonna rip his fucking balls off.

If anybody around chch sees a mid 90s marone colored Nissan bluebird dumped anywhere please PM me, I will get the rego, year and see if I can find a photo and will edit this post to include them.

Edit: According to the internet it is a U13 model (built between 1991 and 1996) and is the same model and color as the one in the attached picture (which isn't the actual car, just a pic I found on google images) The rego is RU6284. If you see it please pm me, I really want to catch up with the piece of shit that took it.

Bastards, I know first hand what a pain in the arse it is to have a car stolen complete with kids car seats and assorted other useful things.

    Will keep my eyes open...

That's why I left a bottle of vodka in the glove box when I used to own a car. For the new recipients if it was ever stolen.

Luckily for the thieves it was never stolen. The vodka had quite a bit of methanol in it.

Paying it forward, so to speak.

Congrats to the family and all the best with your vigilantism.

Are they over 25? Do they need a car to borrow in the mean time? I have one sitting here I won't need for a few weeks (catch is it is 4 hours away from Chch).

Thanks so much Willie, fortunately plunket is providing a replacement capsual and they already had an extra car seat so they have everything they need at the moment in regard to what was in the car.

Thanks so much for the offer, I did give them my car for the meantime although my car is not ideal (it's a Toyota Levin and really not big enough for them) would yours be more suitable? Otherwise it would probably be possible to swap my car with a friend from work for his Magna wagon.

It's a diesel sedan. I'd go for the Magna (station wagons are awesome) but if that falls through it is here and will be easier to manage than a coupe (I believe you have/it is best to have the baby seat in the front for the first year or something? Hatch would be a right pain for that!)

If they have contents insurance that may cover the contents of the car too. Car insurance certainly doesn't cover the contents of a stolen car. Might be an option to get something back...
    Yeah, nah.

    Bastard thieves in Chch generally

There are some professional bastard thieves around Chch

My lad has just had his (locked) bicycle stolen from outside Pioneer Pool.

Poor lad is quite upset, he paid for most of it himself, he's had it less than six months, and had customised it to suit.

The bike was a BMX style with custom green over white paint -easily recognised - but I dont expect we will see it again

Its probably best I don't get my hands on the perps, as a charge of Assault or GBH would be more than likely.
