Car + mountain bike
We did the whole of the timber trail in December, and it's a really nice ride.

not wrong there matey its a beaut track, quite family freindy, might get the kids down there late summer for a couple of days.
i got a little crook so i headed back home this morning

Went for a bit of a blat out back of the Base in the construction area with ZondaX15 today. Quite fun, decent size area of dirt and an unopened sealed road/ drag strip . There for quite sometime without any interruption .

no riding for me apart from around town, ive got another hunting trip planned this week so keeping the whanau happy before i Foff for a few days

Back in New Zealand again Look forward to getting back amongst it. Brought the wife back with me so will need to do some stealthy negotiations and bribery to get out on short notice but I am sure I am allowed to play sometimes.

Jennifer and I are heading over to Raglan this morning for a late brunch/early lunch. Leaving Fairview Downs at ~10:30 heading straight across town and out Whatawhata road. We'll be eating at the Shack on the main street.

No gravel today but if you want to meet up keep an eye out for us as we head down Whatawhata road at 10:45 ish or meet us at the cafe.

Was a good day for it too. Nice weather, not too much traffic. Looped round through Waingaro on the way home for some twisties and snuck in some gravel behind Glen Massey.

Thought I'd go for a ride up Thompson's Track today... Solo not sure if it was the smartest idea for my first time, but I made it .

Some logging guys even let me go up the other road there, had to turn back due to machinery blocking the way further up.

Not another soul on the track. Was a great day for it.

Only a couple wet patches that were easy enough to get through:

not surprised it was quiet up there... the word was the road was closed untill logging operations are finished
nice ride though aye mate, the view up the top is mint looking to the east

just remember before you get carried away and go right over (dont want to fook your back up) that was the easy side
