Good to learn there are different classes. Don't think we'll be going straight into the deepest end, like Isle of Man TT. Although it would be great to get to the Paeroa street races and the like.
Is there a website or link that might give an overview of the sport as far as NZ?

I know of another ZX10 powered chair based in Pukekohe(?) that was for sale when i was looking, it still needed work to finish but it is another option.

the classes are -

Classic - pre '63 and pre '76

Modern - F1 and F2

theres also a pre '82 class starting up which will run with the moderns I think.

Not sure, but over the last 4-5 years the secondhand prices have taken a real dive, not so long ago they would have asked 2-3 times that

Mr Keith Sinclair. Currently races a classic sidecar. He owned the ex-Spike long bike that Des currently races.

The shorty used to be the Lawrance Bros sidecar they won the title on in '93 with a GSX1100 hotrod engine in it. (Used to be Leppard and Goodins bike). Then they re-powered it with a GSXR1100WP. Then Keith got it and has almost finished putting a late model ZX10 engine into it. Needs a little finishing off.

Why couldn't Scrivy fix his one that fast, man those LCRs must be easy to sort out
