I had to sleeve it down 10mm to stop it blowing up. Ok, ill put the top cover and airbox back on to cover it, I just thought it looked cool.

That's more you Wallace and Grommet type bike ...... real bikes have names like Norton or Triumph.

Nope...The G45's did. It fits in the rules as far as the silouwhete (yeah Gordie I can't be bothered looking up the spelling either) and that's good enough for me After 26 years of racing it and 14 of those since I made the ali barrel, I don't give a rats about the rules....the Register can get rooted...they make the rules to suit a select few anyway

How long can the register go on as it is with its declining membership? I've put my hand up a couple of times but I think they remember the war.

I offered the bike to anyone who wants to have a go, no charge. No one took me up on the offer and those that enquired seemed to think i would do and pay fr everything. So yip its for sale or the windle dont care either way just wna go out n have fun again and have some cash in the pocket.

We aren't ready to make an offer just yet. Still lots of research to be done (such as actually having a go ourselves!!). Currently we have no feel for the comparative value of bikes.
We seem to have found someone keen to be our mechanic, who's too shit scared of these machines to ride or swing.

I guess your F2 with a thou in it would keep up with a lot of the F1s, would that be right?
    What's your second bike?
I'd rather be sorry for something I've done, than for something I didn't do.

No idea, I've never raced it cause it has a faulty motor. Chassis feels nice on the few laps I have done. It should really have a 600 in it and is a project bike really. It's a Windle F2 with interesting history. 5th/6th at the IOMTT in the late 90s I think, got some history written down somewhere.

Other bike is a Mo Haley built shorty.. Could go on all day 'bout it but others on here know it better. 3rd at Bathurst, NZ champ, built in the 80s. Heaps of fun to ride.
