Bill never changed the gearing on it, the whole time he had it. Last track it was ridden before he got it was Wanganui.

We were on the limiter in top at Ruapuna, about 50 meters short of the start/finish line...And still lapped five seconds faster than we had on the blue thing.

The windle handles very nicely and when it did run properly it ran really well, At first we thought it was the fuel pump at fault but after trying 3 different set ups at the HAGD we realised that it wasn't the pump so then we thought maybe the fuel tank breather was too small causing a vacum in the tank so we fitted a larger breather hose but never got the chance to test it before selling to Kai, The only other thought we had is it could be a heat related electrical issue as in when it gets warm (it took about 2-3 laps of taupo short track for us) it would start missing and feeling as though it was running out of fuel in the top half of the rev range (when under load) as soon as you pulled off the track it would still idle and rev out fine in neutral but put it back in gear and it won't rev out at all which makes me think something electrical is getting too warm and then starts to break down.

I think the best option would be to throw the R1 motor away (sell it on Trade Me would be better than actually throwing it away ) and fit a nice 600cc motor then go out and have some fun.

All that is characteristic of a coil breaking down.

Kai, swap the coils over from the agip bike.
