It all boils down to life experiences.
Electrocute yourself on a seemingly disconnected wire, and you'll be very distrustful and wary of all wires.
Black guy carjacks you in traffic, or cuts your feet off, you'll be very distrustful and wary of all blacks.

Distrust of certain objects and beings are a learned thing, stemming from our evolution.
yep the South Africans I know are much the same, you hear constantly words like "Kaffir", "flat nose", "darkie" & alot of talk that over here would be considered "racist" but to them it's just "normal" so of-course there's some brilliant stuff said at some brilliant times just because thats how they talk...

When you were a little kid, did you go to sleep at night to the sound of gun shots ringing out through the hood? I will never forget those sounds.

Have you ever lived in a country where it's too dangerous to drive on rural roads at night for fear of being hijacked and killed?

It's very easy for you to make assumptions living in a rather civilized country like NZ. But you haven't lived life in my shoes, and experienced what real poverty is like. Life over there is almost nothing like anything you've ever experienced before.

Yep, you are right. Didn't grow up around gunshots or have to be worried about getting car-jacked. That poverty without hope must be a fucking horrible state to be in. Don't see how you extrapolate from that to - all jews, arabs, and blacks are bad people and all whites are good.

Then you really canīt judge South Africans on their attitude. I never thought I was "racist" or is that judgemental? Until I tried working in Nigeria. Black, White or Yellow when a high percentage of any population behave in a certain way you canīt help judging them and being cautious/hostile towards them.

There's no such thing as poverty as there is no measure for poverty. Your entire homeland is full of lazy bastards as there are jobs out there to be had. @nz being rather civilised. Neanderthals were more civilised than yer average kiwi/safa/roast beef/frog/chink/paki/indian/yank/white mother fucker... although more upwardly mobile civilised white christian people in your country would turn that around in a heartbeat... aaaaaaaaand scene.

Higher percentage of poor people = higher percentage of certain sorts of crime. Just don't see how colour features in it. I've lived in Chicago, London, Thailand briefly. What is see is white collar folks do white collar crime, poor folks do more violent crime.

Not all jews, sand niggers and niggers are bad. Not all whites/crackers/honkeys are good. But making generalizations is what we humans do subconsciously. It's how our brain works.

Now I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but whites are in a way the most "civilized" race that tend to do human rights abuse to a lesser extent than say, blacks. For example, in many African and Middle Eastern countries, homosexuals are often thrown in jail or killed for being gay.

When people can't afford the necessities of life such as food, adequate clothing and housing, then I guess that is poverty.

NZ is a lot more civilized than most countries, such as Somalia where al Shabaab will kill you for having secks to anyone you're not married to.

I would have viewed the locals with the same distrust no matter what the colour of their skin- after working with South Americans I donīt trust them much either - they are pale skinned in comparison. Just as most people living outside of Auckland label Aucklanders "jaffers" and associate them with certain traits. Stealing and crime is one thing - the sheer brutality of a lot of the Africans (even towards each other) is shocking.

Then they should get a job, work hard and they'll be able to buy that which they need. If they're unhappy with how much they're valued by their employer, then they should find a "better" job. If they're not pulling themselves up by their own bootstraps, then they're just not trying and should move to a country that will give them things for free.

Bullshit propaganda. We are different. Some people have what we would call extreme laws, but that's our problem, not theirs.
