    Here we go again...

I've somehow been conned into rebuilding this now...rather than in three or four years as my schedule slackens off.

Grafted a 1990/91 CBR400 front end to the MVX tonight, and decided the best place for the stingers.

Gonna get someone else to assemble the motor this time round, as the GT was an epic fail when I tuned it. I think the crank seals need doing, so it might as well get a couple rod kits and a proper freshen up. I have a rolling road in the shed, so tuning should be a breeze for the lucky punter.

I'm not riding it, so I don't care if it's slow. A couple of friends are in need of a steed so they might as well use this instead of it sitting in my back yard. Does that make them factory backed? I'm building it, and then they ride it after all.

Gonna run an old CBR600 set of wheels, so 125 GP slicks are on their right width carriers. Only sacrifice to speak of might be brakes, but it's looking like a 400 caliper will grab the smaller disk no sweat.

GT125 motor. I have thought about an MVX running as a twin, utilizing Honda scooter barrels. 100cc watercooled twin, with a very good six speed box would be fucken lethal I reckon.

Not sure how or who to sort the crank though. Can the middle slugs crank webbs just be replaced with a long pin?

Be fuck all in it between a GT lump and an MVX missing a head, barrel, and close to a third of it's crank mass.

Ha at least yours does a couple of laps, my bucket one craps out after one lap and it's only got one cylinder. I think i've cornered the market on stuffed TF motors

Husa, Of course, you are the master when researching and producing photos of stuff, but for people like myself who have been away from the scene for years and years, the photos can be a little confusing when not labelled! - luckily I did happen to know about the Ducati arrangement (which I assume these pics are of), but would you label them? ie. when you can.

    Thanks, Will.
