I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!
Okay, it may be a couple hundy kilowatts short but it handles like a sports car and show it the twisties and you better be on the ball if you want to get ahead of it. It's a very fast car point to point and will be happy when others are falling off the corners. But then I have owned it for nearly three years and know how to get the best out of it. The really fun bit is at the gas station when you see the huge difference between a 2.4lt four and a 5lt V8. ..
But you're right, it's mine and I love it and I am happy.![]()

Speaking of new cars, I love the Model S. They've got modern V8 like performance too, so not bad at all for an electric car. Integrated web browser too, so you can watch porn while on the mish.
All manufacturers have a petrol-head or three within the company who would love to build a proper sports car. Scale of operations and the competitive market mean that most have to concentrate on cars for the mass market. However, witness ToySubaru and the GT86/BRZ, shows what they can do when they get the green light.
More power to Lotus and the like!

With a bling-bling car like that, bitches be making the journey to your town, not the other way around.
Also, source? Be highly surprised if it doesn't have a BMS that takes care of the batteries when a charger is not plugged in for long periods; I mean it isn't made by shorai![]()

Ridiculous as apparently this is a continuing issue even with the Model S. Such an easy fix, I have no idea why Tesla haven't addressed it. They're doing their absolute best to not draw any attention to this bricking problem, which means inadequate warnings to owners unfortunately.
edit: Actually a quit google search shows the Model S might not suffer from this problem as the Roadster did. I'm doing a bit more reading now.
