Don't Triumph make scooters?
Fixed that for ya... With Eldog, Spokes and me lighting up the way, I don't think you'll need to worry about the dark!
See you soon! Looks nice and dry tonight...

May or may not be there tonight. Bike is suddenly using a bit of oil and I'm not sure exactly why. If I get home and it's running really low again then I might have to pass on tonight.
I have the articles on the lane splitting, all nicely packaged for distribution. Also some mags.
sorry i left, my tyre had a not so slow leak so i topped it up and ran back home with my tail between my legs... so annoying!

Thanks for those! Be some good weekend reading there.
Yea I went for a quick blatt over there to see what happened to ya but didn't manage to catch you. Luckily it didn't end badly for you during the ride.
Had some excitement myself this morning – my bike cut out while I was lane splitting and I had to coast to the shoulder without indicators. Sat on the side of the road for an hour then got it towed into work. Hopefully have someone coming to look at what's wrong this afternoon. I'm guessing dodgy battery/alternator.
I do like Hornets but I think I'll still opt for a supersport while I'm young and my back allows.
Got George from Motorcycle Doctors in during the day to fix my bike. Told me he'd have to come back tomorrow with a part but ends up coming back at 4pm and fixes it within 30 mins. Can highly recommend him.
My VTR lives another day, and I don't have to suffer a horrible ride on Auckland's public transport system. Cheah!
no matter what it is, just keep one eye out - you might be surprised at what you might find, it might be better than what you were looking for, as you get wiser your ideals change, and there will always be something else better that will come along and take your fancy ayeand you can always go and try a bike and see if it fits.
One of the boys on the Ride Forever course hired a bike for the day to try it out, he rode quite well
ps I need to get out riding more but now gotta tidy the house![]()

Pete, we my be having problems also because we are still driving our cars subconsciencely as we move over to the left and the road bends to the right our natural instint to remain some distance from the curb from our car driving. As we need to do a lot more practise to remove this feeling from our skill set when riding the bike. We are the ones doing the least amount of riding per week I guess in our group. It is just practise, practise practise till its second nature. what do you think its still only part of the answer.

Its also that holding the tank with your knees, looking through the corner, picking your turn in point, counter steer, etc.
But you have mastered the hard part. You have realized you have a problem and are working on it which is the biggest step.
Now go clear some room in the lounge.![]()
Hey yáll, sorry I couldn't ride out, was in Tauranga Moana for the Pukehinahina (Gate Pa) Commemorations and got home totally buggered. Seems like an eventful night.
