People on TradeMe who call any brand of PWC a "Jetski". Kawasaki is the ONLY company that makes Jetskis. It's like referring to all sports bikes as a Ducati, or all cruisers as a Harley, or all scooters a Vespa. TradeMe should be ashamed of themselves for not having a generic PWC section.

I wonder what reaction I'll get if I sell my GSXR as a "Ducati GSXR600".

Heaven forbid you should find out about Velcro, Lux (or Hoover) and a gazillion other products that have been given a generic name over time...

Ask anybody not involved and all there are JetSkis, Hondas, Harleys, Nifty Fiftys. Ducatis as sports bikes, are like Holden and Fords as racing sedans, only any good when the rules are twisted to favour them.
