Anyhoo. Send your bank details through and I'll sort out some freight options.
Ahh yes , Gavimoto's old bike.
Dont worry about figuring out the freight , I can buy pretty cheap freight here

No idea if he raced it but it was a runner....He fired it up for me as he wanted my opinion....It had the most painfully sharp exhaust note I'd ever heard. i asked what advance it was running and the penny dropped. Crank powered ignition (with advance curve) but the trigger was on the cam - and had mechanical advance as well. easily fixed - i think he came back to around 32 - 36 degrees.

This is bloody brilliant news. Hopefully there's bugger all the motor needs, and I can just build the bike and send people out on it.

Might as well get started by chucking some CBR600 wheels in the chassis.

1000 wheels will be faster, don't go off all 1/2 arsed about it.

These are admittedly a little heavy. But they're 3.5 inch rear, and 2.75 front. The sizes are good for slicks, and I've got them sitting here.

He doesn't need permission to screw it up, it's a given...

Memory says Pete had problems which may be why it's not together. possibly head gasket ? Does it use an air cooled barrel ? probably a good idea to dry deck the thing Drew if it hasn't been done.

Pete's still around ChCh - dealt via the net with him a couple of months ago.

Yeah, air cooled barrel still...off to look up "dry decking".

    Oh, that seems simple enough.

If he was struggling to get a good seal, one would need to assume there's a surface matching issue, no?

Guess I'll find out. Hopefully a surfacing table is all I'll need.

Save yourself some time and work and just run the stock RG150 wheels if you still have them. Untill it becomes a problem.
Which it wont for a very long while. They are wider than FXR rims i'm pretty sure, and FXR rims still work okay-ish with slicks.

I think they are 2.15 front 2.75 rear from memory

So how many buckets is this on the go?

    Good to know, cheers bro.

Three on the go, counting Stevie's.
