The latest from Motomatters is interesting, particularly when he discusses Yamaha's reaction to Marquez' supremacy.
When Smith went to Yamaha he was told to adapt his style to suit the bike. Yamaha were adamant that high corner speed was the be all and end all. After analysing what Marquez is doing they have altered the bike to let EsP try more of the Moto2 style that Marquez uses. None of which will do Lorenzo any favours.
Emmetts description of his m/c trip to Mugello is also worth a read.

Sitting watching FP1 and wondering if Bridgestone have beefed up their front tyre to cope with the new bigger Brembo carbon rotors that are available to the teams this weekend.
Is it possible that the Bridgestone staff are practicing a rain dance?

Apparently Rossi hadn't tried the soft in practice but the Bridgestone rep assured him it would be OK. After changing to the soft half way through qualifying it turned out that was not the case, he had bad chatter, and no time to change back. He says he has good pace but being so far back on the grid is a problem . Then again, Mugello has lots of places to pass.
And he might be justifiably nervous about being next to Bautista on the grid.

From MotoMatters for Shaun - and Matt Oxley:
"Miller's talent is being noticed, however, and the Australian will be moving up to Moto2 in 2015. He will be riding for one of the top teams in the Moto2 class, with an announcement likely to come some time around Barcelona."
