Gonna miss this one guys, replacing steering head bearing in XT ,must have been a bit careless with water blaster as bottom bearing went rusty and made riding bloody hard work last weekend as shoshoni witnessed $80 ouch ! Will take more care next time

Hi, got recently a LC4 and would like to join you.
Didn't have time to get mud-able tires on, so wonder what tracks you plan to ride ?

yep at work all sorted Pete. Ran a weld to get outer off, not even an edge to get a punch onto. Got koyo bearing from our suppliers. Not sure what my trade price is yet but it comes with a new seal its a tapered bearing. It might be slightly different than yours being a much heavier bike, not sure though. I hope I'm not being ripped off.

I don't know exactly what Shoshoni has in mind but I'd have a guess and assume most of it will be fairly ordinary gravel.
Usually out there on the Peninsula the actual challenges are fairly limited and there are no real muddy bogs such as we can find in the Culverden to Cheviot area.... That said Old Lebons Track is the biggest challenge we've had there recently and I'd love to do that again.

Take a chance and come along, there's always a way to go around bits if needed and if a regroup place can be arranged.

Hey I wanted to take the photos this time.

Actually no, not taking the video stuff this time and don't currently have a decent clicky camera.

You should be fine just planned on doing a causal ride this time out, all public gravel roads.
I'm staying away from all the tracks since we've had so much rain I don't know what there conditions are like.
There are also speed restriction in place on some bridges in the area we are heading.
